Description
Harford County is soliciting bids for inspection, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, restoration, replacement, and related services for potable wells and associated equipment throughout its water and wastewater system. Core services include annual inspections at 14 identified well and well-site locations, equipment testing, preventive and predictive maintenance, service reporting, and regularly scheduled adjustments. Contingent services include non-emergency and emergency service calls, specialty labor, pump and motor rentals, well-pump pulling equipment, vibration analysis, well televising, parts, and other equipment. The contractor must provide qualified field service technicians and licensed well drillers, emergency availability 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and detailed inspection and service reports. Factory-authorized parts are required unless the County approves otherwise, with parts reimbursed at cost plus a 10% markup. Addendum No. 1 clarifies that applicable taxes may be reimbursed at cost, adds an administrative labor rate for parts orders, and adds a mobilization fee payable once per job or project. The contract term runs from execution through June 30, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal options.
