Description
The U.S. Secret Service is soliciting a five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for dry cleaning, laundering, pressing, starching, pickup, and delivery of uniforms and other garments, along with minor alterations and repairs. Estimated annual items include dry-cleaned coats, blouses, trousers, sweaters, and ties; laundered and pressed shirts, trousers, ballistic vest carriers, and shorts; hem repairs; button replacement; and sewing of police patches and rank insignia. No minimum quantity is guaranteed. The contractor must provide twice-weekly pickup and delivery on specified weekday schedules between 5:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., use enclosed vehicles and appropriate garment racks, carts, hampers, and protective coverings, maintain sanitary and quality-control processes, and support secure separation of government garments from other customers' items. The quote must include a technical submission addressing employee training, staffing, equipment, quality control, processing capacity, vehicles and drivers, and at least four similar references from the past three years, plus pricing using the provided Attachment 3 price sheet. The award basis is lowest price, technically acceptable.
