Description
Homer Township is seeking Statements of Qualifications from firms licensed to practice architecture in Illinois for professional services related to the buildout or change of use of a partially constructed Civic Center. The selected firm will evaluate three program configurations—large assembly and recreation use, recreation with meeting rooms, and a hybrid community model—and develop conceptual and schematic design studies for Township Board consideration. Services may be authorized in phases, including design development, bid and permit documents, construction documents, and construction administration. Scope may include floor plans, building systems concepts, code and zoning review, engineering coordination, outline specifications, responses to requests for information, scope review meetings, site observation, submittal review, pay application review, and project closeout support. Statements of Qualifications are limited to 20 pages, excluding the cover letter and requested attachments, and must not include fee or compensation information. Evaluation will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, team qualifications, past performance, capacity, project approach, and ability to meet the anticipated schedule.
