Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, has issued an Invitation for Bid for a non-commercial supply contract covering the fabrication, testing, secure pre-acceptance storage, and delivery of six high-voltage power supply units for the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal Electric Dispersal Barrier. The requirement includes four 1.5 MW units and two 350 kW units, a mandatory 12-month storage period at the contractor's facility, an option for six additional months of storage, and final FOB destination delivery to the operational site. This is a firm-fixed-price procurement conducted under FAR Part 14 sealed bidding procedures. Award is planned for the lowest-priced responsive and responsible bidder.
