Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources is soliciting a one-time inspection of existing fire alarm equipment at ISD Hopper during the October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, purchase-order period. The contractor must inspect the existing system during normal weekday business hours and provide a written summary identifying the fire alarm manufacturer, device types, and quantities, including control panels, pull stations, duct detectors, heat detectors, horn strobes, smoke detectors, flow switches, tamper switches, and any additional equipment found. The inspection excludes fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, backflow preventers, repairs, part replacement, and emergency service work. The solicitation also requests separate pricing for replacement-part discounts, technician labor and travel, and technician-helper labor and travel. Payment is net 30 and made after completion of testing and inspection.
