Description
The Town of Canton is soliciting sealed bids for Phase 2 streambank repairs at the Chestnut Mountain Park Main Entrance. The work includes approximately 129 linear feet of gabion wall, Class B, Class I, and Class II riprap, channel excavation and grading, structural and common fill, concrete void fill, a 24-inch CMP culvert extension, coir matting, riparian plantings, temporary stream bypass and pump-around, erosion and sediment control, NCDOT concrete curbing, traffic control, mobilization, and site restoration. The project also includes excavation, grading, and stabilization of approximately 450 linear feet of the north bank of Hominy Creek. The work must be substantially complete within 45 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and ready for final payment within 60 calendar days. Bidders must hold an appropriate current North Carolina General Contractor's license. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required; bid security is not required. The successful bidder and subcontractors must comply with E-Verify requirements and applicable Iran divestment restrictions.
