Description
The Oregon Youth Authority seeks a contractor to replace four rooftop HVAC units at its MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility: two 12.5-ton units and two 7.5-ton units, Trane Precedent models or equivalents, with economizers. The work includes required transition ducting, use of existing concrete pads and controls, condensate piping, and disposal of the replaced units. High-voltage electrical connections, concrete equipment pads, and natural gas piping are excluded. The contractor must provide a detailed scope of work describing its approach, tasks, deliverables, and the percentage of work performed by the contractor versus subcontractors. Quotes are limited to eight pages and must include the completed and signed RFQ Pricing Sheet with an all-inclusive flat fee. Work occurs inside a secure youth correctional facility and requires escorted access and compliance with facility security and tool-control protocols. Prevailing wage requirements apply. A mandatory project walk is required, and offerors must notify the single point of contact of their intent to attend by the stated deadline. The solicitation states an Oregon Small Business Enterprise evaluation preference.
