Description
The Bureau of Reclamation seeks one new, lightweight 35-ton low bed trailer and detachable gooseneck, with specified dimensions, axles, suspension, brakes, tires, ramps, tie-downs, toolboxes, lighting, and other components. The trailer must meet the stated material and performance specifications, including California Vehicle Code requirements. Certain components may be brand-name-or-equal, while Imron paint is specified by brand name only; used, refurbished, prototype, and demonstration equipment will not be accepted. The quote must cover all listed line items and include manufacturing, assembly, labor, freight, shipping, transportation, and equipment needed for delivery. The contractor must provide a technical drawing for approval before custom fabrication, quality-control documentation before transportation, and the manufacturer’s certificate of origin/title/VIN, warranty certificates, and operation and maintenance manuals at delivery. A one-year standard manufacturer’s warranty is required. Delivery is anticipated within 120 days to the specified FOB destination; the contractor must notify the COR at least seven business days before delivery.
