Description
The City seeks an as-needed service to collect and dispose of treated utility poles and cross arms. The vendor must provide 10-yard roll-off bins, with pickups and deliveries priced for one-bin and two-bin loads during standard hours and outside those hours. The City estimates approximately 50 pickups per year, about two bins once per week, but does not guarantee a minimum quantity. Poles will be cut by the City to lengths no greater than 10 feet; items may include metal or porcelain hardware and may be treated with pentachlorophenol, creosote, DCOI, and/or copper naphthenate. Disposal must comply with applicable laws, and the vendor must provide manifests and disposal-site documentation. Quotes must use the attached form and remain valid for at least 30 days after closing.
