Description
The City of Sandy Springs is soliciting bids for the Windsor Parkway Sidewalk Project (S2161), involving approximately 2,940 linear feet of sidewalk along the south side of Windsor Parkway from Dalmer Road to the existing sidewalk at 727 Windsor Parkway. The work includes a six-foot-wide sidewalk, a two-foot landscape strip, curb and gutter, driveway and pavement work, traffic control, grading, sod restoration, striping, signs, retaining-wall-related concrete work, and associated improvements. The project also includes drainage improvements, including approximately 1,739 linear feet of 18-inch storm drain pipe, 16 new catch basins, a reconstructed catch basin, a drop inlet, a manhole, culvert extension, and parapet walls. Utility coordination and water-system work are included, with requirements for qualified utility contractors, water-main and appurtenance installation or adjustment, testing, disinfection, and restoration. The contractor must perform at least 51% of the contract work and be a Georgia Department of Transportation-prequalified prime contractor. The solicitation requires numerous signed certifications, affidavits, bid documents, references, insurance documentation, and a bid bond when the bid price exceeds $100,000.
