Description
The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services, for the Washington State Department of Corrections, is soliciting sealed bids for the AHCC C4/C5 Shower Repair - Rebid project at Airway Heights Correction Center. Base-bid work includes selective demolition and renovation of existing C4 shower areas, including new concrete shower floors and wall systems, linear drains, plumbing fixtures, gypsum ceilings, lighting, ventilation components, shower accessories, and related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. The project also includes patching, restoration, hazardous-materials procedures, site security, prevailing-wage compliance, and a mandatory 15% apprentice labor-hours requirement. Additive Alternate No. 1 covers renovation of the C5 Units C and D showers using the same general scope as the base bid. The estimated bid cost range is $1,400,000 to $3,200,000. Bidders must submit the online bid, Wage Theft Prevention Form, Subcontractor Listing Form A, bid guarantee, pricing, and Bidder Compliance Form through the procurement portal. Supplemental bidder responsibility requirements include documented experience on at least three similar projects of at least $1,000,000 each, key-personnel experience, a diverse-business inclusion plan, an apprenticeship utilization plan, and project references.
