Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes from SBA-verified small businesses for Pacific brand floor-care equipment for the Manchester VA Medical Center: two EVSMD28LBSP2 28-inch disk scrubbers with lead-acid batteries, two EVSM805402 QS-12 walk-behind scrubbers, and eight PAC675405 V15ED 15-inch upright dual-motor vacuums. Amendment P0002 confirms that a Letter of Authorization from Pacific Floor Care must be submitted with the quote; without it, the quote is ineligible. The acquisition is a brand-name requirement competed among authorized Pacific distributors, and the award will be made to the responsible eligible small-business quoter offering the lowest evaluated price. The contractor must provide, deliver, install, assemble, test, inspect, and support the equipment; perform a preinstallation site inspection; provide initial operation and safety training for facility staff; and furnish manuals, safety data sheets, warranties, quick-reference materials, and battery-maintenance documentation. Required capabilities include BatteryShield-equivalent safety functionality, HydroLink-related battery and water-management features, healthcare and electrical safety compliance, low-noise operation, diagnostics, and specified warranty coverage. Delivery is required within 30 days after award, with installation and training within 45 days.
