Description
San Jacinto Community College District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive moving services. This includes the relocation of office furniture, workstations, records management systems, laboratory equipment, and general office effects. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the move, including disassembly and reassembly of furniture and modular systems, and must be capable of handling specialty or high-value items such as pianos, safes, and oversized equipment, either directly or through approved subcontractors. The scope also includes providing all necessary supervision, personnel, equipment, vehicles, and packing materials. Moves will be scheduled between Monday and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential for evening or weekend work to complete scheduled moves. The contractor must provide a written plan for each move, including cost estimates, and will be responsible for any damage to college property during the moving process. The contract term is one year with four one-year renewal options.
