Description
The City of Half Moon Bay is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide one or more of three service areas: transient occupancy tax administration, audit, lodging and short-term-rental discovery, compliance, forecasting, and consulting; business license application, renewal, payment, account, compliance, and customer-service administration; and sales and use tax reporting, reconciliation, analysis, forecasting, allocation-issue support, and consulting. Proposers may bid on any or all service areas, and the City may award them separately or collectively. The selected consultant(s) will provide online filing and payment portals, taxpayer and operator support, reporting, audits, discovery and outreach, data conversion, implementation, system configuration, training, and transition services as applicable. Proposals must include a single PDF containing the requested proposal sections, including a cover letter, executive summary, qualifications, proposed team, technical approach, relevant experience and references, and cost proposal. The proposal may not exceed 20 pages, excluding the table of contents and attachments.
