Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 14 aluminum alloy 6061-T651 metal plates, each 1 inch thick by 36 inches wide by 96 inches long. The plates must conform to the specified technical data package, SAE AMS4027P, reference drawing 01735, and associated quality requirements; test coupons are not permitted. Each shipment must include a Certificate of Quality Compliance (mill-material certification). The material requires continuous identification markings, including the delivery order number, NSN, specification and revision, alloy, grade, class, type, temper, manufacturer, heat and lot number, and dimensions. Packaging, palletization, preservation, and shipment markings must comply with the stated military and ASTM requirements. The solicitation is limited to suppliers meeting the Qualified Suppliers List for Distributors requirement, and quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
