Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons seeks a contractor to provide the materials, labor, and equipment to replace the existing 750 kW generator, load bank, and three-way main switchgear, and install one new 2,000 kW diesel generator and switchgear system. Work must comply with the attached statement of work and specifications. The construction contract has a 420-calendar-day performance period beginning after issuance of the notice to proceed. A bid guarantee is required at 20% of the bid price, capped at $3 million, and performance and payment bonds are required after award for 100% of the original contract price each. The project magnitude is estimated at $1 million to $5 million. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside.
