Description
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety is soliciting a single-prime contractor for a lump-sum construction project to replace the kitchen grease exhaust hood, rooftop exhaust fan, and rooftop makeup air unit at the Perquimans Juvenile Detention Center. The prime contractor must hold the required North Carolina contractor license classification; general contractors must have an Unlimited license classification unless an applicable statutory exception applies. Attendance at one of two online Microsoft Teams pre-bid meetings and a mandatory site visit is required for prime bidders. Bid bonds, performance bonds, and payment bonds are not required. The project will be awarded as a single prime contract, with payment based on monthly estimates and final acceptance.
