Description
The United States Air Force Academy is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for the purchase, installation, and deployment of two new standardized meteorological sensor suites and the technical refresh of twelve existing suites for the 306th Flying Training Group. The requirement includes data loggers, wind, temperature/humidity, barometric pressure, and precipitation sensors; cellular and LoRa/LoRaWAN communications; solar-power components; cameras; air-quality sensors; mounting systems; and related hardware. New equipment must be compatible with specified existing Campbell Scientific equipment, and standard warranties must be included. The contractor must provide project administration; station design, programming, construction, delivery, installation, operational validation, dismantling, removal, haul-away, disposal, and site cleanup across twelve active sites. Cameras and air-quality sensors must be installed at four designated sites. The contractor must also set up and manage a server and public-facing custom web interface supporting real-time data ingestion, quality-control flagging, alerts, graphical history, CSV archive downloads, and 24 months of data archiving. The system must support user-configurable audible and visual alerts, public weather and air-quality access, and applicable cybersecurity features. Up to two additional sites may be ordered through option line items. Installation is expected to occur within 12 months of award, with acceptance following a 30-day testing period. Quotes must include descriptive literature and the completed Buy American--Balance of Payments Program Certificate.
