Legal Notices NOTICE TO BIDDERS Publication Date: 9/25/2026 Chautauqua County is accepting sealed bids for: INVITATION TO BID NO. E-3-26 PFS and E-4-26 PFS New Leachate Tanker and Used Leachate Tanker Invitation to Bid (ITB) Documents are available at the County’s Purchasing Office , 454 N. Work Street, Falconer, NY 14733, may be downloaded from bidnetdirect.com/new-york , or may be requested by email from mcintyrb@chqgov.com. Chautauqua County is not responsible for the completeness or accuracy of ITB documents received from any other source, and the successful bidder shall be subject to official County ITB terms and conditions. Bids must be received by the County’s Purchasing Office no later than 2:00 P.M. on October 5, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Description
Chautauqua County is soliciting sealed bids for a new leachate tanker and a used leachate tanker. Each tanker must be in stock and available for delivery, have a capacity between 6,000 and 9,000 U.S. gallons, support a minimum payload of 50,400 pounds, and comply with applicable Department of Transportation requirements for transporting landfill leachate. The new tanker must meet specified requirements for baffling, loading access, discharge equipment, chassis, suspension, braking, and payload. The used tanker must be in good operating condition, ready for immediate service, free of known leaks and structural damage, and accompanied by disclosure of known defects or required repairs. The bid package requires the applicable bid forms and certifications, including the response checklist, non-collusion bidding certification, Iranian divestment certification, exclusion checks certification, financial affidavit, foreign corporation affidavit if applicable, bid authorization certificate, bid form, and addenda acknowledgments if applicable. Bidders must also provide a specification sheet; used-tanker bids must include current photographs and disclose known defects or repairs. The award will be made separately for each solicitation to the lowest responsible bidder based on total delivered price.
