Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation seeks a contractor to provide storage trailer rental services for California Health Care Facility. The requirement includes either eight 53-foot storage trailers or ten 48-foot storage trailers, with comparable substitutions permitted subject to State approval. Refrigerated, flatbed, and open-top units are not acceptable. The contractor must deliver, position, support, maintain, repair, and remove the trailers. Delivery is required within 12 hours of notification, repairs must be performed on facility grounds within 12 hours of notification, and non-repairable units must be replaced within 24 hours. The scope excludes warehousing, material handling, loading, unloading, inventory, and logistics services. Bidders must submit rates for daily and monthly rental, delivery and pickup, and estimated repair costs, along with the required bid forms and certifications.
