Description
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is soliciting a contractor for the replacement of an approximately 1,547-square-metre building’s HVAC system and related equipment in Calgary. Work includes removal and replacement of heating and air-conditioning equipment, an air-handling unit, make-up air unit, pumps, sump pump, hot-water tank, ductwork, wiring, insulation, and associated electrical and controls. The project also includes relocation and upgrading of the building management system, targeted partition demolition, refrigerant work, installation of fencing, vents, grilles, louvers, and thermostats, plus testing, balancing, setpoint optimization, and commissioning. This is a two-phase selection process: Phase One evaluates qualifications and experience, while responsive bidders may be invited to submit Phase Two pricing. The solicitation requires two qualifying reference projects, limits eligibility to Canadian suppliers, requires Facility Access Level 2 security clearance before work begins, and evaluates Phase Two bids on lowest compliant price.
