Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for an SDVOSB construction contract to renovate approximately 7,200 square feet on the second floor of Building 1 at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center. The project will create three modern operating rooms and support functions, renovate approximately 500 square feet for relocated Cardiovascular Laboratory Service space, and provide a new air-handling unit with appropriate ventilation capacity. The work includes structural modifications; relocation of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing lines; temporary renovation of existing space; field verification; supervision, labor, tools, materials, installation, training, commissioning documentation, operations and maintenance documentation, and a one-year warranty. The draft statement of work specifies a 550-calendar-day performance period. This is a Sources Sought notice only, not a solicitation for proposals, quotations, or bids. Respondents must submit a capabilities statement, relevant experience, bonding capability consistent with an estimated project magnitude of $5 million to $10 million, business-size and socioeconomic information, an estimated project duration, and up to three similar completed projects from the past five years. Responses may not exceed five pages.
