Description
Gwinnett County is seeking suppliers for an annual, as-needed contract covering U-channel sign posts, finished traffic control signs, finished and blank aluminum street name signs, aluminum sign blanks, reflective sheeting and related sign materials. The bid schedule includes multiple sections of standard, specialty, school-zone, construction, overhead, one-sided, and two-sided signs in specified sizes, materials, colors, and reflective grades. Products must comply with applicable Georgia Department of Transportation qualified-product requirements, MUTCD and FHWA standards, specified aluminum and sheeting specifications, packaging requirements, and quality standards. Orders will be delivered inside, freight prepaid and allowed, to the County's Transportation facility. Delivery is required within 40 days after receipt of order, with 24 hours' notice before delivery. Vendors may bid on selected sections rather than the entire schedule, and the County may split awards or award the solicitation in its entirety. Resellers and manufacturers may bid, but awarded vendors remain responsible for product compliance. Pricing must remain firm during the initial term, with four renewal-option pricing fields provided. The solicitation requires the County bid schedule, applicable compliance or specification sheets, applicable addenda, alternate or equivalent product information, references, and the Code of Ethics Affidavit; the addendum must be acknowledged with the bid.
