Description
Glass City Academy seeks proposals for leased Category 2 managed internal broadband services for three school locations. The selected provider will own and lease eligible equipment and provide site-specific design, equipment, licensing, installation, activation, configuration, testing, and ongoing management, operation, and monitoring of LAN and WLAN components. Requested equipment may include managed PoE switches, routers, wireless access points and controllers, eligible firewall components, cabling, racks, UPS equipment, and supporting software and licenses. Proposals should include location-specific network designs and diagrams, equipment and line-item pricing, E-Rate eligibility percentages, compatibility and equivalency information, implementation and migration plans, outage and rollback measures, support and service levels, warranties, and required vendor narrative information. The solicitation requests at least three relevant education references. Vendors must attend a mandatory site walkthrough to submit a Category 2 bid; the contract is contingent on a positive funding commitment. The proposed initial term is described as 36 months and 5 years (60 months), with optional extensions excluded unless explained.
