Description
This project involves the construction of a traditional breakpoint nutrient reduction wetland in Wright County, Iowa. Key tasks include selective clearing, excavation, grading, installation of steel sheet piles, tile installation, a water control structure, and seeding. Specific quantities include approximately 12,950 cubic yards of earthwork, 932 square feet of steel sheet pile, 2,500 linear feet of tile, 59 linear feet of drawdown pipe, 532 tons of riprap, and 106 cubic yards of concrete grout. The project also requires seeding over 26.3 acres. The estimated construction cost for this project ranges from $450,000 to $550,000. The construction is expected to be completed by June 15, 2027, with buffer seeding by June 30, 2027, and structure seeding by September 15, 2027.
