Description
The City of Chicago is soliciting bids for services related to the excavation, hauling, and disposal of lime sludge from the Northwest Water Treatment Plant. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City's Online E-Procurement portal. Email, fax, or hard copy submittals will not be accepted. The City is not responsible for any delays or errors in electronic submittals. Bids will be opened on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM CDT. Bid results will not be provided over the telephone or prior to award. Bids may be withdrawn before the closing time but cannot be modified or withdrawn for sixty calendar days after opening. The pricing for the last contract for excavation, hauling, and disposal was $15.32 per wet ton.
