Description
The Cities of Spring Hill, Fort Scott, and Fontana seek a qualified engineering firm to prepare a rail corridor plan for 14 at-grade crossings connected by the BNSF Fort Scott Subdivision. The consultant will analyze each crossing, evaluate alternatives for improving safety, and recommend safety-improvement designs. The project has $2,150,000 in total funding available, including federal and state funding and an applicant contribution. Firms will be evaluated on company background, project team resumes, relevant project and rail-study experience, and client references. The selection committee may shortlist firms for in-person interviews.
