Description
The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction is seeking up to three contractor-presenters to design and deliver one-hour professional development workshops for school and district administrators. Each selected consultant will be assigned one of three subject areas: Identifying Native Students in Public Schools; Agents of Change: School Leadership Behaviors and Dispositions; or Creation of Government-to-Government Systems. Training must address practical implementation, culturally accurate and respectful Tribal content, hands-on learning, ready-to-implement resources, inquiry-based and place-based methods, and district-level application. Workshops will be delivered at least four times annually across Washington State, in person and hybrid formats as determined by the agency. Consultants must meet stated experience and credential requirements, including Washington business licensure or a commitment to obtain it, relevant educational or Tribal experience, expertise or training in government-to-government relationships, adult professional development experience, and knowledge of applicable education data systems, privacy requirements, and Tribal data sovereignty. Proposals must include a letter of submittal, certifications and assurances, qualification affirmations, applicable contract issues list, contractor intake form, management proposal, three references, and two examples or samples of related work. The anticipated contract period is October 14, 2026, through December 30, 2027, with possible extensions through 2029. Compensation is $1,200 per training session, with a maximum of $14,400 per contract per fiscal year and no guaranteed minimum number of sessions.
