Description
The State University of New York at Albany is soliciting sealed bids for project P-1565N, Liberty Terrace Apartment Refresh North. The project covers 68 student apartments and two staff apartments and includes selective demolition and replacement of flooring, kitchen cabinets, fixtures, appliances, kitchen electrical receptacles, painting, in-kind light fixtures, ceiling tile, diffusers, and apartment window blinds. On-site work is scheduled to begin May 20, 2027. Substantial completion is required by July 23, 2027, and final completion by August 6, 2027. Bidders must submit bids in duplicate, provide bid security of at least 5% of the total bid, and be able to obtain a performance bond for the full bid amount. The project anticipates a value exceeding $5 million and includes participation goals of 6% SDVOB, 11% MBE, and 19% WBE. A nonmandatory pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled for October 9, 2026.
