Description
This Request for Information seeks industry capability statements for ruggedized, portable, special-purpose gaseous nitrogen generation plants packaged for maritime shipyard use. The contemplated modified commercial systems must generate nitrogen with less than 50 ppm oxygen, provide oil-free and low-moisture gas, deliver 100 SCFM continuously at approximately 350 psig, and boost and store gas at 4,500 psig. The preferred configuration houses feed-air equipment, nitrogen generation, high-pressure boosting, automated manifolding, controls, and maintenance storage in a single 20-foot ISO container, with external high-pressure bottle banks permitted. The contemplated requirement includes two first-article test units and up to ten production units ordered through a future IDIQ, along with qualification and NRTL inspection, independent purity verification, operational testing, delivery, on-site commissioning, documentation, 24 months of consumable spares, and optional multi-year maintenance. Respondents must provide a capability statement addressing commercial or modified-COTS product availability, system architecture and packaging, required modifications, relevant experience, field maintenance capability, specification feedback, lead times, and rough-order-of-magnitude pricing. The response is limited to 15 pages, excluding standard product literature, and may be submitted in PDF or Microsoft Word format.
