Description
Columbia County, Georgia is soliciting engineering services for Project PI 0021741, which involves widening approximately 2.4 miles of North Belair Road (CR 580) from two lanes to three lanes. The project includes a continuous central turning lane, right-turn deceleration lanes, and upgrades at the CSX railroad crossing. A shared-use path will be installed to enhance multimodal connectivity. The selected consultant will be responsible for all project phases, including concept development, field surveys, environmental documentation, public involvement support, preliminary construction plans, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), active utility coordination and relocation management, right-of-way plans, and final construction plans, all in accordance with current GDOT policies and the Plan Development Process (PDP).
