Description
The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking fresh eggs for correctional-facility kitchens. Bids must cover brown or white, fresh, U.S. Grade A medium or large eggs in loose packs of 15 or 30 dozen per case. Eggs must be USDA-inspected, stamped and dated no more than 17 days before delivery, delivered at no more than 45°F, and properly labeled with identity and origin. Brand and nutritional specifications must be approved before award; substitutions will not be accepted, and samples may be requested. The order consists of 240 dozen, or 30 cases at a 30-dozen-per-case pack size, with delivery required to four Colorado facilities during October 12–16, 2026. Pricing must be all-inclusive, including delivery, and remain firm for the purchase-order term. The response must include the required completed exhibits and quote pricing; the award will be based primarily on price, with product quality, lead time, and past performance also potentially considered.
