Description

The National Park Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price construction proposal for the BRCA 310427 Southbound Shuttle Stop project at Bryce Canyon National Park. Work includes shuttle stop and lane improvements along Bryce Canyon Road, culvert extensions and new culverts, multi-use trail realignment, a southbound shuttle bus stop, a cast-in-place retaining wall, a new shuttle stop shelter, sidewalks and ADA ramps, replacement of Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices signs, pavement striping, erosion and sediment controls, and related demolition, salvage, grading, paving, drainage, and traffic-control work. The park will remain open during construction, and the contractor must maintain visitor, pedestrian, cyclist, and shuttle access while protecting surrounding resources and Utah prairie dog habitat. The anticipated period of performance is 150 calendar days, from May 1, 2027, through September 28, 2027. The acquisition is a total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 237310. Proposals require technical and schedule narratives, project experience, key-personnel resumes, past-performance information, a price proposal, bid guarantee, representations and certifications, general references, and a subcontracting-percentage worksheet. A bid guarantee is required at 20 percent of the total proposal price or $3,000,000, whichever is less; performance and payment bonds are required at 100 percent of the original contract price.
