Argonne National Laboratory is soliciting a contractor to supply and install window treatments for its Building Manager group under a blanket agreement with no guaranteed quantities. Required offerings include blinds, shades, curtains, hardware, accessories, manual and motorized custom shades, roller shades, room-darkening options, and related installation. Required brands include Mermet, SheerWeave, and Hunter Douglas. Products must meet specified construction, fire, bacterial and fungal resistance, and NRTL listing requirements, with custom shades manufactured within a 1/2-inch tolerance. The contractor must conduct site visits for measurements and quotations, deliver materials FOB destination, install products according to manufacturer specifications, remove debris or old treatments as directed, provide post-installation inspection, warranty materials and workmanship, and submit product specifications, samples, and a completion report. The contractor must maintain a primary business location within 25 miles of the laboratory, provide three current commercial customer references, and ensure onsite personnel complete Argonne safety orientation and sign the contract-specific Job Safety Analysis before work begins. Offers will be evaluated using lowest-price, technically acceptable criteria. The estimated annual purchasing volume is $80,000, but Argonne does not guarantee any purchases. The response must include the completed and signed ANL-70 Request for Quotation, capabilities documentation, country-of-origin information, average lead times, completed and signed ANL-70B Representations and Certifications, and the completed Appendix C price list.
