Description
The City of Crest Hill is soliciting bids for construction improvements at the Weber and McGilvray intersection. The scope includes roadway widening; removal and replacement of curb and gutter; installation of a concrete median and sidewalks; and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN's vBid system. Bidders must be registered on the QuestCDN plan holder list, submit prequalification information to the engineer, comply with prevailing wage requirements established by the Illinois Department of Labor, and follow applicable federal, state, and local regulations. A bid bond of at least 10% is required with each proposal; the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds totaling 110% of the authorized contract amount.
