Description
The City of Shreveport seeks a professional engineering consultant to develop design drawings and specifications for permanently taking the Amiss Water Treatment Plant's High/Low Service Building out of service. The work includes site investigation and assessment; design of building and utility decommissioning; new washwater recovery pumps in the adjacent equalization basin; a replacement flash mix system in the Plant 1 Lime Building; and replacement or relocation of instrumentation and related control and fiber-network components. The consultant will also provide permitting support, bidding assistance, and construction-phase services, including submittal and RFI reviews, site visits, progress meetings, record drawings, and inspection as needed. The response must include a transmittal letter, Standard Form 330, the project approach, an organizational chart and key-personnel resumes, firm experience, specified Fair Share forms, and affidavits. The package requires one original and 12 copies, with an electronic copy on CD or USB attached to each copy. The maximum design fee is $500,000; surveying, right-of-way, and environmental fees may be negotiated separately when needed.
