Description
Orange County is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of steel sign posts for installation on Orange County roadways. The posts must be RIB-BAK U-Channel Posts made from high-carbon new billet steel meeting Grade SP-80 requirements, hot-dip galvanized after fabrication in accordance with ASTM A-123, and punched with 3/8-inch holes on 1-inch centers. Posts must be bundled in groups of 50 with bundle seals identifying the post weight, quantity, and lengths. Bidders must provide descriptive literature demonstrating compliance with the specifications and submit delivered pricing for the listed post sizes and estimated quantities. The award term is one year, with up to two additional one-year extensions and a possible short unilateral extension. The County may permit purchases by other New York political subdivisions and school districts. No bonds are required, and assignment or subcontracting requires the County's prior written approval.
