Description
The City of Unalaska, Parks, Culture & Recreation, is requesting proposals for one vending machine at its Community Center. The selected vendor must provide and install the machine; supply, stock, and restock packaged foods and non-alcoholic beverages; manage cash and cashless payment options; and handle all transportation, operating, maintenance, repair, payment-processing, and removal costs. The proposed product mix should include healthier options alongside traditional snacks and beverages, with final selections subject to City approval. Proposals must describe the proposed machine, product mix, revenue-sharing arrangement, stocking schedule, maintenance and response procedures, payment capabilities, ADA/accessibility compliance, proposed agreement or trial period, and relevant experience. Respondents must also provide proof of insurance or confirm the ability to obtain required coverage, along with applicable licenses or permits if required. The selected vendor will be responsible for applicable insurance, licensing, compliance, customer complaints, refunds, and restoration of the immediate area when the machine is removed.
