Description
Battle Creek Area Learning Center seeks bids for network electronics at one building, including a Fortinet 40F firewall licensing renewal (or equivalent), racks, and basic maintenance of internal connections. The requested work includes equipment, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance; bidders may submit for equipment, labor, or both. Firewall licensing and maintenance services are specified for July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028. The selected contractor must provide project management, design and engineering, installation, activation, initial configuration, training, and three years of warranty and follow-on support. The bid must separately identify eligible and ineligible items and maintenance costs, and include itemized materials, labor, and pricing. A five-percent bid bond is required for bids of $31,321 or more. Performance and labor-and-material payment bonds are required if total labor charges reach $2,500.
