Description
Mattawan Consolidated School is soliciting firm-fixed-price quotes for Category 1 connectivity solutions, including standalone data transmission, leased dark and lit fiber, a self-provisioned network, and services over third-party networks. The requested scope also includes Category One network equipment and maintenance and operations. Bidders may propose one or more solution types; the district may select multiple providers. Quotes must itemize ineligible products and services and comply with E-rate requirements, including holding an E-rate SPIN and having an active SAM.gov registration. The self-provisioned network scope may include turnkey project management, permits, fiber infrastructure installation, splicing, testing, restoration, and closeout documentation. Network equipment must be new, supported by the manufacturer, and supplied by a manufacturer-authorized channel partner. The district evaluates cost, rollout timing, compliance with requirements, contract terms and insurance, turnkey capability, references, and service reliability. A walkthrough is scheduled, but attendance is optional.
