Description
The library is seeking internet access with a minimum capacity of 1 Gbps. The requested service includes domain name registration, at least one static IP address, a 99.97% uptime guarantee if available, and a maximum four-hour service response time with 24/7 coverage. Bidders should itemize any ISP-owned equipment placed at the library, statistical analysis access through a web interface, and end-to-end maintenance for equipment used to deliver the service. Quotes must be firm fixed price and separately itemize any services that are not eligible for E-rate funding. The library may select more than one provider for a service type and may consider multi-year contracts. Providers must have an E-rate SPIN; the solicitation also specifies annual certification and active SAM.gov requirements. Proof of workers' compensation insurance is requested with the bid, while proof of a $2 million liability insurance umbrella is required upon award.
