Description
Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo seeks firm-fixed-price quotations for Category 1 internet access and data transmission, including internet service at two school locations and transport between two locations. The district will consider leased lit fiber, leased dark fiber, and other transport options. Internet service should provide at least 1 Gbps, preferably synchronous, with static IP addresses, a 99.97% uptime guarantee if possible, and a maximum four-hour service response time, 24/7. Quotes should itemize all components and any services not eligible for E-rate funding. For Category 2, the district requests managed internal broadband services for eligible existing equipment, including two FortiGate firewalls. Quotes must be firm fixed price, identify non-eligible items separately, and account for the possibility that implementation depends on funding approval. The district may select more than one provider for a service type and may consider multi-year contracts. Vendors must have an E-rate SPIN and an active SAM.gov registration; the specified annual certification must be on file by September 1, 2027.
