Description
Mattawan Consolidated School is soliciting proposals for Category 1 connectivity solutions between its data center and a campus natatorium and fieldhouse. Responses may address standalone data transmission, leased dark or lit fiber, a self-provisioned network, or services over third-party networks. The requested capacity ranges from 500 Mbps to 10 Gbps for several options and up to 50 Gbps for third-party network services. The district may select more than one provider or solution type. The scope also includes Category 1 network equipment and maintenance and operations. For self-provisioned construction, the district seeks a turnkey solution that may include project management, permits, infrastructure installation, testing, restoration, and documentation. Proposals should itemize ineligible products and services, provide firm fixed pricing, and address the stated technical requirements. The RFP also requests provider references and evaluates service reliability, E-rate costs, rollout timing, technical compliance, contract terms, and turnkey capability. An addendum states that the previously described rerouting of applicant-owned fiber is no longer needed.
