Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide valet parking assistance for veterans, patients, family members, and visitors at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center Downtown Division. The contractor must park and retrieve approximately 300 to 400 vehicles daily, scale staffing to demand, operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and provide a full-time on-site supervisor during operations. No new vehicles may be parked after 4:30 p.m.; the remaining time is reserved for vehicle retrieval. The contractor must furnish trained and screened attendants, uniforms, booths, mobile locking key cabinets, claim tickets, traffic and liability signage, barriers, and other operating supplies. Responsibilities include assisting disabled patrons, securing keys, maintaining vehicle and incident records, handling damage claims, providing daily vehicle counts and monthly performance reports, conducting employee training and testing, and complying with applicable insurance, security, background-check, and VA facility requirements. The procurement is a firm-fixed-price service contract with a one-year base period and four one-year options. Amendment 0002 provides answers to vendor questions, supplies site diagrams, confirms a 135-space designated valet area, and extends the response deadline to September 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Pricing must be submitted separately from the technical proposal.
