Description
The City seeks a contractor to rehabilitate manholes at various locations, including approximately 360 vertical feet of cementitious and epoxy lining, chemical grouting of joints and cracks as needed, and spray-applied urethane chimney seals for 25 manholes. The work also includes replacing 19 manhole castings, removing and replacing approximately 95.3 square yards of concrete pavement, traffic control, and associated restoration. The engineer's estimate is $374,834. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, and materials; perform pre- and post-work manhole inspections and testing; and maintain sewer flows during repairs. Work must be completed by September 30, 2027. A 10% bid security is required with the electronic bid, with a physical copy due from the apparent low bidder within 48 hours after the bid deadline. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price.
