Description
The City is seeking a contractor to modify Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway from Atkins Street to Hickman Road. Work includes installing curb and gutter; milling and resurfacing the roadway with hot-mix asphalt; constructing sidewalks and driveways; pavement marking; and traffic signalization, along with incidental work. The project also includes traffic signal equipment and related infrastructure, with work performed in accordance with the plans and technical specifications. Bids must include electronic bid security equal to 10% of the bid amount. The engineer’s construction estimate is $2,950,000. The project must be completed by May 31, 2028, with intermediate completion stages and liquidated damages specified in the contract documents.
