Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks FDA-approved blood bank reagents, specialized red-cell reagents, antisera, and related consumables for its VISN 22 blood bank departments. Requested items include ABO reverse-typing cells, antibody screening and identification cells, check cells, reagents for antigen testing, and antibody identification panels with at least 30 unique donor cells and a full antigen profile or functional equivalent. The solicitation also includes a non-mandatory Lewis Blood Group Substance line item. Products must meet the stated accreditation and validation requirements, and vendors must provide sufficient supply for participating blood banks on a bi-monthly basis while accounting for short shelf lives. This is an unrestricted request for quotations for a firm-fixed-price blanket purchase agreement, with a 12-month base ordering period and four 12-month options. Quotes must include the completed five-year pricing spreadsheet, technical information addressing the specified product and quality requirements, a past-performance questionnaire, CLIA certificates, certificates of analysis or conformance, and documentation of applicable FDA compliance.
