Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research, not a solicitation or request for offers. The Department of Veterans Affairs is identifying potential sources able to furnish tuberculosis testing reagents and related supplies for its VISN 2 testing program. Requested items may include test kits, positive and negative controls, cell separation and processing reagents, ancillary consumables, manufacturer-provided quality-control materials, product documentation, and technical support. The VA seeks a domestic source for products compatible with the existing T-SPOT TB testing platform and methodology. Products should be FDA-cleared for clinical diagnostic use as applicable, new and commercially available, supplied in original manufacturer packaging with sufficient remaining shelf life, suitable for an accredited clinical laboratory, and supported by documentation and manufacturer assistance. Respondents are asked to describe their capabilities and product equivalency, business size and status, manufacturing origin, distribution or subcontracting arrangements, relevant contract vehicles, and general pricing; pricing is for market research only.
