Description
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Division of HIV & STD Programs, intends to contract with Chembio Diagnostics Systems, Inc. for SURE CHECK HIV 1/2 assays and related components. The kits will support confirmatory HIV blood testing at non-clinical sites, with the state distributing them to covered entities for point-of-care testing and counseling. The notice states that the assay supports a dual rapid testing algorithm, has a two-year shelf life, and provides results in 20 minutes.
