Description
Rockland County is soliciting a high-performance, biodegradable, solvent-based cleaner/degreaser for breaking down grease, oil, and organic contaminants in wastewater wet wells and related equipment. The specified product is Grignard Grease Buster 3000 or an approved equal, with requirements including partial water solubility, a flash point above 212°F, pH of 5.0–8.0, non-objectionable odor, and a minimum two-year shelf life. The product must be supplied in 250-gallon totes and 5-gallon pails, with estimated usage of two 250-gallon totes per year. Alternate products require a 5-gallon sample delivered to the Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 by October 28, 2026, for pre-approval; the approval letter must be uploaded with the bid. The bid requires pricing and manufacturer information, a Statement of Required Disclosures, an Experience/References form, valid New York workers’ compensation and disability certificates or an exemption attestation, a signed bid acknowledgment, product specifications and SDS sheets, and a Certificate of Experience. The solicitation identifies the prior contract holder as G&G Group LLC dba G&G Enterprises, and states that Fusion 300 Plus is not approved for this procurement.
